Cognitive Engagement 认知参与量表

量表简介:

A 10-item subscale from the MSLQ (Pintrich et al., 1993) was used to measure cognitive involvement. Items were reworded to reflect online learning. One sample item is “When reading for my online classes, I make up questions to help focus my reading.” Cronbach's alpha was acceptable (α = 0.73).

To measure participants' behavioral engagement, we adapted Linnenbrink's (2005) four-item Behavioral Engagement Scale, rephrasing items to encapsulate the online learning environment (e.g., “Even when my online coursework is dull and uninteresting, I keep working until I finish”; α = 0.82).
