Expectancy Measure 期望值量表

量表简介:

We measured expectancy using the eight-item expectancy scale from the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ; Pintrich, Smith, Garcia, & McKeachie, 1993). Items were restructured to assess expectancy in the online environment (e.g., “I expect to do well in my online classes this semester.”; α = 0.94). The six-item task value subscale from the MSLQ (Pintrich et al., 1993) was used in this study. Items were reworded to assess students' task value in their online courses. The Likert-type scale generates three subscales: utility value (n = 2; e.g., “I think the course material in my online classes is useful for me to learn.”), attainment value (n = 2; e.g., “It is important for me to learn the material in my online classes.”), and intrinsic value (n = 2; e.g., “I like the subject matter of my online classes.”). We averaged the items to create a composite task value score (α = 0.88).We measured composite task value in this study.
